Memory remains....

I pray for the soul of our little angel - Adik Nurin Jazlin, rest in peace my girl, you are now in a better place...insya Allah.

And if the police wants to do something right, this is the time. Get the bastard who did this. I wish for him to be tortured and die slowly. But instead they said they are going to press charge Nurin's parent for negligence. I mean...wtf!!! Do they have to announce after the funeral??? Have they no feelings??

Nurin Jazlin was pronounce dead within the past 24hours from the time they found the sports bad. So imagine the ordeal she has to go through, I can't even describe it. My tears drop again when I saw the papers today. Yes..I am that emotional.

Everytime I look at her photo, she reminds me of my niece, Mashitah. It send shivers to my spine, thinking if this happen to her.

Mashitah...mashitah..I miss that little girl...

Speaking of Mashitah, my brother, Mashitah's father died 2 years ago on Sept 20th 2005. For the whole of that Thursday, apart from hearing the news on Nurin Jazlin and the opening of Pavillion KL, I was trying to remember what else was it.

On my way home, I remembered that it was the day that my brother went to meet his Creator. All the memories came back. When I reached home, I told my mom that it has been 2 years already. And so much has happen.

I pray for Abg's soul to be among the pious and that one day I will be his neighbour.

Ouh..I was reading AphroditeKuzz entry on this chaotic HOBO been creating, I chatted with him once and he claimed he knew my late brother. Years ago, they used to play for the rugby national under 21 team, I think. He mentioned that once while on training, he accidentally knock him off and my brother reciprocate by saying "sxxl..la kau ni kalut!!! kawan sendiri pun nak langgar" or something like that. But my brother died 2 years ago when he was 36, so if he's still alive that makes him 38 this year. Not 40 yet as AphroditeKuzz describe HOBO. So Mr Hobo, if you were telling a true drama, good for you...but if it was a just a pure luck thingy...that's so pathetic!!!

Reality Shows

This might be a little too late. Congratulations to Mila for breaking the male domination in the AF. I dozed on and off during the show and even missed the FA Final match because all the femme in the family out vote the man. So my abang and bro-in-law had to watch it at mamak shop.

The final was on 19th May 2007. A significant date until 2 years ago my 1st abang passed away. And so happen malam tu Aswad new single title was

~BILA MATI CINTA TERHENTI~

Macam tau-tau pulak laa.... Yeah..my SIL got married not a year after my brother's death. Walau dah bertahun-tahun courting plus marriage plus 5 beautiful kids, she still needed a man whom she claims is for the kids.

Ini bukan posting mengungkit, tapi posting "masih tak memahami" tindakan kakak ipar aku itu. Maybe it's sex, maybe not, can be anything..aper pun I hope she's happy.

So aku nak tujukan lagu ~BILA MATI CINTA TERHENTI~ nie kepada dia. Semoga berbahagia dunia dan akhirat.

----------------------------------------------

Jordin clearly deserve the crown. That finale singing was superb compared to Blake. I thot the final contestant this year..takder ummph!! factor.

It would be real awesome if it was Jordan vs Melinda or Lakisha...or better Melinda vs Lakisha. Now that would be a blast!!!

It was good to see Glady Knights and Bette Midler and other famous superstars performing live.

All and all it was Jordin night. That 17yo lass sure deserve it. I just hope she wun end up another Spears or Lohan.

And I always said combination of Black and white genes...fantastic siot!!!! Have u seen black and malay combination??? Lagi fantastico....I've seen one..infact two.

For those who missed the show last night and maybe tonight too.. this is a uTube of both Blake vs Jordan.

Thisss!! is the American Idol..... Alaaa..ala...Ryan Seacrest tone.. Enjoy!!

Happy Birthday Mashitah

Mashitah turned 5 today. Called her later part of the evening, she sounded happy and I'm glad. She wanted a barbie doll cake and I'm still wondering how I can I get it to her. Things complicated and trying making the best out of situations.

Happy Birthday Mashitah...
May you grow up to be a good girl...
Remember I love you...

The Unexpected Visit

Once upon 14years ago..... (picture have been removed on the request of the bride)

On Sunday morning the controversial SIL came by with the kids and allies, I would assume for Raya visit. How cruel can that be?? Only allowing the kids to see the grandmother on the 20th day of Raya.

She went back to KT for the whole 1st week of Raya and only made an effort to call us on the first day of Raya. When she came back, the weekend next was to introduce her newly wed husband to the neighborhood and check this out… one of her allies actually lied to one of her invited guest by saying my brother attended the function and had gone home!!! Allah is Great, that guest happen to know my cousin and the whole thing just blurt out. They were invited to the house and SIL mentioned “dtg la ader surprise” That guest was obviously surprised indeed and gob smacked by the whole thing.

I came back from work, my cousin called me up to tell me what happen. Didn’t complete the conversation, my battery died and in that instance I had to pull over..bloody police man saw me on the phone without my handsfree. Damn!! Was my fault anyway… So I got stopped and alhamdullilah did not get a ticket. But I had to answer whether or not I can settle the whole thing by “belanja them officers makan”

Lose the badge...moron!!! Bebas rasuah konon… And what did I say…

Encik saya memang tak nak kena saman, kalau encik tanya saya laaa.. tapi saya jugak tak boleh nak belanja makan sebab nie dah macam rasuah… kalau itu yang encik nak..baik lah encik saman saya..

He handed over my I.C and reminded me not to do this again. I said thanks and apologized and agreed it was my mistake. Phewww!!! Kalau tak terbang RM150… but either way I felt good for not giving into them… cam skema gitu kan??

Anyway back to the unexpected visit, my sister actually chased my SIL out of the house. Yes ladies and gentlemen, that’s my Big Sister… She was the closest to my late brother, she felt disgusted when my SIL first voiced out her intention to get married by telling her a hadith which goes somethin’ like –

Kalau ada yang lebih baik, go on and marry him. Was this guy so much better than my brother? Only Allah knows…. And btw, in this hadith, that other better man, was Rasullulah himself which of course at that point of time is every woman’s dream to be the wife to the greatest man on earth.

What she did not do was to finish the hadith – Tetapi kalau ia adalah seorang ibu tunggal yang sanggup berkorban untuk membesarkan anak-anaknyer, tempatnya nanti adalah disisi Rasullulah S.A.W

If anyone reading has the complete version, please do fill in my comments, I would really appreciate it.

Dan bermacam-macam fatwa lah yg dikeluarkan while on the verge of getting married. That she did not need her father’s permission for being a widow laa… don’t need him as a wali la…and macam-macam la lagie. Well I’m not gonna argue on this as I myself am not an expert.

The kids alhamdullilah did not see this whole scenario. As soon as they salam Wan, they ran up to the TV room.

Before my SIL saw my mom, my sister spills the bean. Her tears drop. Her motherly instinct sensed that SIL had married but she was in denial. Now the truth has come… Mom redha…..

For some unknown reason I’m always not around when these things happen. Zahin again dropped his tears, Summaiyah even though she’s only 7..her facial expression can be clearly define. Mom did not want to add salt on to fresh wound..she didn’t ask questions like, what do you call him, or is Mashitah sleeping in between them at night… she don’t want to put them in an awkward situation..how wise of her… all she said was to all the kids that they must behave and take care of themselves.

I called her brother today. I felt that I had to apologize on behalf of my sister. I’m not condoning her act but I’m also trying to understand her frustrations. When anger take over our sanity, everything is possible… He understood and told me that her sister and her allies deserve it.

Till my next scribbles…salam and peace to all

Soulmate made in heaven.

So it was settled. She said she had no intention to lock me out or whatsover. Thank you friends, u know who you are, thanks for the advice. I take it that it's about time for me to go anyway. My mom need me more then ever now. I came back on Friday night, I saw my mom's face all swollen and I knew she has been crying if not the whole day at least the whole evening.

Redha, that's the word I told her. We have to accept the lot here. This is our test. Not as hard as others but just as hard. She said, I told her father " Haji, dia dah lupa kat anak saya Ji, dier luper kat anak saya macam tukar baju". My heart filled with sadness, my eyes filled with tears. I had to pacify her frustration and depression. Dulu orang2 tua slalu cakap, lelaki, kubur bini merah lagie dah nak kawin lagi, nie the opposite pulak.. I don't know..honestly..I try to seal myself from commenting anything if possible, but how could I?? I'm just an imperfect human after all. I just wish ultimate happines for her and her new family.

In referring to a blogger friend blog on his entry - "Soulmate". I keep asking myself, does soulmate exist? Define soulmate?

a) It means that if a couple weather the strongest storm succesfully, they're still together and love each other more forever and ever.

b) If the otherhalf life is shortlived, and if the other half remain single till the day he/she dies and meet in the otherworld.

c) If a couple who did not survived stage 1 hurricane and disperse only to come back stronger because of the strong call of love.

d) If a couple who cannot be together for some reason, but they're solid as friends and collapse if binded.

Anymore options for the defination? I'm looking for soulmate made in heaven?? Exist?? Nahhh... in fairytale land maybe. Sometimes love build for over 15years can just be gone just like that. When someone has intention to re-marries in less then 6 months after the otherhalf last breath, can the love be questioned at all?? When is soon is too soon and late is late enough?? That is the question.

Yours Truly will soon be relocated to SA until further notice. Life as a nomad, that's me. For now I have a grieving mother to attend to and we have a wedding to execute for the coming National day.

Habib the handful..Habib the Tabib(healer)

It's not easy to get upset with Habib for a long time...Unlike his brothers..he's sometimes quite handful...but also a good healer for a broken heart.. Above it's some pictures taken before and after the surgery.

Last week he had a minor surgery for the gland he had on his elbow. It became painful so the Doctor decided to remove it while he was admitted due to asthamatic.

Since the operation he just eat..eat..and eat....infact he whack the whole plate of rice after the surgery, prolly the medication has some side effect and he also became a little bit more than that..

After the dinner last Friday at Big Plate..on the way home we saw a lot of wedding tents. This is expected because of the Agung's Birthday PH weekend. Opposite the house too had a wedding on Sunday afternoon.

While driving home..I gave the comments that there will be lotsa wedding over the weekend..and dgn selambanyer he said...semua org dah nak khawin..cik intan yg tak kawin..kawin...(everyone's getting married except you)...

nak lempang??? tak nak?? nak lempang??? tak nak?? :@ very the laser mouth for a 9yo...

i just said shaddap you!!! mind you own biznezz!!!

Big Plate

Called my SIL yesterday and told her that I would like to treat the whole clan for dinner tonite... thot of ordering Domino's since I have few vouchers. Pause...not a good idea..since it's a school holiday and tak pergi maner maner..so my SIL said why not we dine out?? Good idea..but where?? Then both of us teringat "Big Plate"...the last time we went there was??? tak ingat dahh..

We left after Isya, so that balik nanti tak la chaotic nak suruh solat. It was in Melawati so it took us only about 10minutes drive. On the way there..it was a bad comedy evening for me and SIL. Zahin n Muhd..tak abis abis bagi lawak mental..a short dumb one..but ader yg funny..we had to endure the jokes and even answered for it..layan kan je laaa..

I guess the reason I wanted to bring them out for dinner it's because for the past few days..some of the daily must-read blogs are putting up pictures of food...food...and foooooddd....argghhhh....it's sooooo not fair...i can't cook that good yet..:( So to settle my cravings I had to go and outsource it...and the theme was western..everyone agreed..and so does my tummy. Eating alone sucks, since pay day has arrived..why not I treat the clans? Boleh re-bonding ngan kids skalikan? It cost a whoopi over RM200..but that's nothing compared to the satisfaction I saw on the kids faces and my tummy.

Soups were mushroom soup and oxtail soup served in a homemade bread-mangkuk style. Mushroom soup finished within 5 minutes...I got to take a spoonful.. And the Oxtail-soup, this time I make it a point to snap it before it's gone..

Now that's from the Kiddies menu. It's Baby Steak. It dun look like no portions for kiddies... We ordered 5 of those..deliciousss!!

As soon as the Baby Steak arrived, we gave to Habib..because after the minor opt and with medications he's taking..he's forever hungry.. He quickly removed the greens on his plate. Dengan selambanyer...

Ma, amik petai nie, Habib tak makan.

Ader ker french beans cakap petai??? My..my...

Menu - Chicken Shah Alam

Menu - Seafood Fettucine..

Menu - Kebab Chicken with Saffron Rice

Menu - Chicken Picatta ( Took home the left-over and had it for lunch today..slurpp..)

While waiting for me and SIL to finish our dish and whatever are left...Zahin made his light-sabre...that shows to prove there's a child in every man..

We went home dgn perut yg kenyang-sekenyangnyer...and in my head..woww..I'm gonna have Chic Picatta left over for lunch tommorow...yayy!!!

We thot the bad comedy night was over but Habib in his jovial mood popped out a question..

Habib - Binatang aper yg ader nombor??

Me - Entah??

Malas nak layan mood..sbb dah jadie ular sawa..he then gave the answer..

Habib - 1300-85-'tupai-tupai (2525)'...tupai laaa..

Mama and me bust out laughing..kelakar jugak lawak bodoh Habib nie..at that point at least..

Aaahhhhh..what a night..I think the kids needed the break..

p/s: me & SIL teringat arwah's favourite dish - kambing banting...:(

Making an effort..

Last Friday my SIL when over to the school to get the report cards for the mid term exams on the religious studies subjects. My nephews are in Al-Amin and apart from 5 normal curricular subjects they have 10 religious subjects to get through. And the UPSR for these subjects will be in July if I'm not mistaken. Immediately after the school holidays they have another exams for these 10 subjects..so imagine my SIL in her panic state..

So Zahin has 6a's and Muhd I think 5a's. And being in the 1st class this is just not good enough. My SIL called me up on the phone on that Friday itself to convey her frustrations. At the very beginning I too was very dissapointed with the kids and they have actually been quite playful after Abang's death. Everything is in a concept of redha for Zahin and Muhd falls asleep after 5 minutes of reading!! Muhd throws tantrum every night during the exam week and SIL cried buckets for this.

Their face shows no regrets expression..no sadness..no sorry ma look..i'll study harder now..etc..etc.. I thot of giving them a "booster" in the weekend until I read one of my favourites daily dose must read blog and remembered something from my past.

I've forgotten what is like to be kids. I was not a very bright kid in term of studies..when all others dreamt to be doctors, engineers, accountants etc..I was still thinking whether or not I can survive SPM. What I love to do then was read..read and read...give me a book I shall find a corner and read till my mom come over and give me a pinch to the real world. Plus I loveeee....to watch TV...remember The 'A'team, McGyver, V, Little House on the Prarie, 21 Jump Street and all the old skool sitcoms like cosby, happy days and lots more.

But my mom, she knows my strength and weaknesses. She knows I'm not like my bro's and sista's..i'm more of the playful type. But I catch up fast and have good sense in doing things. She sat with me during my major exams and tells me that what important is the effort...result is secondary. Whatever the result is after the best effort given, leave it to her to handle it. And effort is what I gave.. being a last minute person, I burned the midnight oil few weeks before exams, she photocopies all the past years papers and mark it for me. Through her connection as a teacher she got me a splendid teacher for certain subjects that she's not good at. It was my effort and her effort. And so I completed my SPM. Got Grade 2, not too bad for a baddie like me..my dad was so sure that I'll get S.A.P... I got into a private college on my daddy's expense(he made sure he kept some for rainy days i.e to subsidized a pain in neck daughter like this, the rest of the clan when on to the normal U's) and studied Hotel Management where I dealt with lesser calculations.. ohh..and I hate maths!! Mommie build my confidence, my character and attitude towards life, that I can be what I want to be if I put in my best effort. And this too was my late bro's advice to me when I was facing the first difficulties in my working life.

When my 2nd bro failed badly in his SRP because he could not cope up with the religious subjects in this Agama boarding school, my mom quickly took him out from the school and put him in a normal school a walking distance from home. My dad went berserk!! it's more of his reputation with the neighbors. In his first exam for the subject principal of accounts he scored 7/100... my mom first step was to find a good tuition teacher for this and she did. My bro promised her that he will score in his SPM and score with flying colors he did... that too was my mom and my bro's effort.

When my big sista discontinued her studies in ITM banking studies..again my dad when crazy!!! at the time a bank officer is like so the dream of maks and abahs of the 80's. She supported my sista decision when she wanted to study Hotel Management in a private college...she contributed her money and energy for this.(at that point my dad was really pissed with mum and sista) I remembered we woke early dawn to make some kuih's and frying stuff to be send to this shop in PKNS/SA and school canteens. 'We' means us the whole siblings.... and she flew to the States after her Dip to gain her degree with mom and us effort.

This is what I want to instill in my nephews and nieces. Make an effort for everything they need to do in life. It dun matter whether it's 6a's or 10a's or no a's at all, the most important thing is they've done their part and struggle to achieve it. It takes more than academic success to be great in life. When you put effort in doing things it also defines your attitude towards life..you appreciate materials and life more.

I seriously need to sit down and have coffee with Zahin and Muhd...I hope I can survive the "malas nak layan" faces on them..

Multiple ways of using perfume..

Zahin pestered his mom for a bottle of perfume last weekend when we were out shopping for his boxers... Grown man he is..no more 'spende kaler kaler' aka colorful underwears. He's first perfume was the one that Toki bought in Mekah while performing the umrah. He took care of it like he's life depended on it i.e putting it in a safer place while he's at school and even use it to school.

He even told mama, that they're allowed to use perfume to school but not bringing it it to school. So mama gave way and bought him one and of course whatever he gets Muhd get it's too. It's like having twins... fenin..

We went to this small cheapo perfume shop who sells it in a small, medium and large bottles. After testing few and getting confused I think he settled for *Eternity* and Muhd "Hugo". Both bottles for RM14....how RM7 can make him a happy man.

Today while I was getting ready for work and they needed to get ready too for their extra class in school, I saw him at a glance wiping his arms like he's using a lotion. He doesn't use one so I stopped and ask.

Me - Zahin buat aper? (What are you doing?)

Zahin - Pakai perfume. (Putting on the perfume)

Me - Ehhh..that's not the way to use it...

Zahin - Abih camner?? Zahin pakai camni sbb mama beli perfume dlm botol bukan spray..
(But how? I'm putting it this way because mama bought the one not in the spray kind of bottle )

Me - ???? Lost of word..and walk away..giggling..
Kids say the darnest thing..don't u think?? Technically he's right...

In rememberance of Abang....

Today 19th May 2006 was to be my Abang's 37th birthday. That's how I used to call him, just plain Abang, Amir to his friends, Ayi to mummy and Eri to my big sista and the rest of the clans. I used to sms him everyear on this day. And as always call his children to remind them to wish Abah, happy birthday. Our family always make an effort to celebrate birthdays of our love ones. Be it in advance or a belated one...

So on this day I would like to share all the happy thots of my late-brother from his friends, neighbours and even strangers.

May Allah place his soul in Jannah and may we be his neighbours...Amin...

Salam,
Alangkah besarnya pahala orang ynag mengasihi anak anak yartim.

Dgn lafaz bismilah, semuga Allah memberi kekuatan utk terus menulis. Assalamualaikum wbt,Terima kasih atas semua ucapan takziah dan prihatin antum semua. Membaca email takziah seolah membaca mengenai org lain bukan diri sayasendiri. Pernah beliau berkata, bagaimana nanti utk dia menghadapi kehilangan ibunya, rupanya Allah merencanakan beliau dahulu yang dijemput, tanpa sakit, tanpa tanda, tanpa sebab. Tidak pernah sekalipun beliau menyakiti hati ibunya. Setelah selesai urusan haji, beliau pernah berkata, kini beliau bersedia jika dijemput Allah.

Memang benar kata isteri beliau pn noraini,yg almarhum amat menghormati keempat empat ibu bapa beliau. Saya melihat sendiri semasa keempat empat ibu bapa beliau menziarahi beliau semasa beliau hidup. Masyallah kehebatan almahrum beramal dan menyayangi ibu bapa, terbukti semasa saya menolong mengangkat, memandi dan memasukanjenazah beliau keliang lahat. Jenazah beliau cantik, bersih dan harum, seperti mayat seorang syuhada. Dear Ani

After awhile this is the first time I am writing to you. You have been close to my mind and in my prayers since that day. I could not even meet with you that day. A few times I wanted to visit you but tak ada rezeki lagi. I am forwarding my thoughts of your late husband, yang tak pernah kak fatahiyah kenali secara dekat. It is only for you, malulah kalau orang lain tahu. Masa tulis tu spontan je. Mungkin kak fatahiyah jarang dapat peluang visit funeral yang tenang2 begitu of course apart from the weeping. The first time I experienced that was at my father's funeral 37 years ago. But then he was 52 and an Ustad . Ada juga rakan rakan lain tapi dah kenal mereka jadi tak spontan sangat reaksi.Didoakan Ani banyak bersabar .

Assalamuaalaikum wm wb kawan-kawan,
This morning I attended a funeral for a friend's husband. At 36 years old he died immediately after 'sesak nafas' in the early morning hour.I was telling my husband how friendly and kind hearted the couple are. That is how I always feel around her, & once or twice meeting him.I expected a good number of wellwishers I was right but my! This person's life is more than right. When the prayer was conducted the single story house seemed to swell to accomodate the number of men gathered to offer their last respect for him, although there were doubly (any such word prof?) more outside. It deeply touched me and seemed like it did everyone else. Then came the revealation:Dalam hati berkata , Betapa ramainya yang mengasihinya, sudah tentu Allah lebih mengasihinya dan Allah menunjukkannya pada orang2 yang masih hidup. 36 tahun apa yang dia dah buat sehingga begini baiknya akhir hayat.. (taklah nak dibandingkan dengan ustad2 maupun menteri2).Tiba satu trooper anak2 remaja sopan santun terus menyertai solah jenazah.Tiba satu van middle aged men terus menyertai solah jenazah.Terdengar bisikan "anak2 muda itu dari tahfiz yang dibiayainya".Orang2 itu dari mana? tak tau ada la tu.Terdengar lagi bisikan, "mana tak ramai orang ,dia ni amal jariahnya banyak".Terdengar bisikan lagi " sapa tak kenal, dia ni memang macam tu suka buat amal kebajikan" Dalam hatiku, 'aku tak kenai pun'. Terdengar lagi bisikan, " Bagusnya hidup dia, awal tahun pergi haji, hujung tahun mati"Terdengar pula bisikan " Dia dah dapat visa nak pegi umrah bulan Ramadhan ni, kesian tak sampai hajat dia." Being 50, I feel so small comparatively, amal ibadah kurang, amal jariah pun kurang.Saya akhiri dengan "Innalallah ha la yukhliful mii'aad" dan Selamat memuliakan Ramadhan Kareem.Wassalam.

Nevertheless , out of curiosity, Allah made me read it right to the end. Allahuakbar, i tremble and tears kept streaming the as i read the last half of the mail - for it is also my pesanan to my boys & hubby to mandi me for the last time and that one of my son insyaallah to imamkan my solat jenazah. May Allah make it easy for them when the time comes.Yesterday I met an American who lived in Qatar , I learned this doa from her : " O Allah , please lead me to the righteous ones and please lead the righteous ones to me " . Insyaallah we can include this in our daily doa for whom we are with will affect our thinking , and our action - anything & everything we say, do, we surely want Allah's blessings .May Allah place Amir Zuhairi in Jannahtul Firdaus and may we be his neighbours, ameen.

What's not yours..will never be yours..

Nowadays, after being introduced to the world of blogging by my far away down south friend every free time I have I'll blog hop. I was reading one of the blog that I've link to mine and realised how actually I've divert from my role as a 'makcik'.

What it's not yours, it will never be yours. Allah has fated that at the age of 30 i'm still single and searching..well not literally searching..but more of waiting buah yang tak jatuh. But my love for children develop eversince forever I think..that's why when I was offered the job as nanny I did not hesitate not for a moment. While everyone in the family especially mom was against it, I pursued with the job. I know everbody meant well...what the heck is she doing, from one career lady one day and the next day i'm changing diapers. Mom was more concerned of how she has to answer to the clan of my new posting abroad.

Kita hanya merancang, hanya tuhan yang menentukan. In less that a year of my returning to home sweet home, my brother passed away. So without being asked and to everyone's expectation I packed my bag and my social life and went to live with my SIL and her 5 kids plus the maid. Those kids..i love that like crazy!!!

Not even reaching a year since my brother's death I think I've turned from a loving aunt to a most despise aunt. I tried so hard to make their life as how Abang was around. I'm the tough one..i nagged...i threw tantrum and poor muhammad always getting the rotan from me since he's the notorious one. Notorious in a good way, he's very expressive, very vocal and very loving to his mama. But at the same time he's attitude has taken a step too far, he treats my SIL very badly and giving bad examples to the younger ones and all she could say was..tak boleh..kita tak boleh berkeras sangat..kesian, he dun have a father. He's 12 and next year will be a new life for him. If he's lucky he'll get into boarding school, and how he'll survive there I seriosly don't know how. This is the year if we want to make things right, i kept telling my SIL. She needs to be stronger, show who's the boss and start reprimanding him for his mistakes. Reprimanding in a way taking his play time or tv time if he doesn't finish his homework or cut his allowance if he keep slacking in his studies. And whip if necessary. She has to enforce this because she's their mama. At the end I'm doing it, I'm doing all the dirty job, not that I mind but i'm becoming 'cruella de ville' here. Everytime I'm trying to set the rules straight like not to eat in the room then comes their uncles who will completely ignores it and I don't blame them either coz that's how they were brought up. My SIL has to wake up and jumpstart her engine. It's still not too late. At the end of the day, the kids will just think...hey..who the hell she think she is?? my mama?? and that's exactly how i'm feeling right now after the row with Muhammad last night. I keep telling or asking myself?? what the hell i'm doing fighting like cats and dogs with a 12yo kid???

The kids are so dependant on mama. They can't even study on their own....yg 2 org umur 12 tahun tu pun the same...and I can't blame them..mama has to be around...the only time they don't need mama is when they're playing or watching tv. When I want them to shower first before taking dinner on school days, my SIL will sometime change it..oohh..it's ok they can have dinner first..no consistency in raising them. I believe instructions from parents must work concurrently, one should only act as a pacifier and not to incite or show disagreement openly.

There's so much I want to do with the kids. I want to bring them to movies and trust me they don't even know what is MPH let alone Kinokuniya. Bring them to movies is a taboo for my SIL. Her perspective is not to expose them to these things. I would rather do these thing with them than knowing later that they've sneak out because they want to be cool like other kids..u know watch movies..lepaks at McDonalds..etc..etc... I'd rather introduce them to the world of karaoke and not by some other punks in school. I want them to have balance in life. But at the end of the road the conclusion is they're not my birth children and I'm not their mama and never will be.

They's done miraculously in hafazan and quran reading but somebody gotta teach them about the real world. And that person should be their parents and in my case-my SIL. If only I can reach out to her.. but as usual and always my views don't count. I'm the bad apple of the family....

Instant Mummy-Mummy segera

Is the translation above right? hhmmm.... this morning i was asked by my nephew what is 'ear phone' in Malay. so dgn confidentnya i answered 'alat pendengaran telinga'. but then it didn't sound right to me, coz biler translate balik it sound like hearing aid thingy. so i asked the help of my oversea frend, she pun blur jugak and the best part her hubby literally translated as 'telefon telinga' boley??? inilah resultnyer tipu my abah on the BM text book during my school days. it was too expensive the book that when abah gave me the money to buy, i instead went to town and spend it on marvellous mc'donald.

well anyway back to 'mummy segera', i was given the chance to raise 5 beautiful kids approximately 6 months back. this is after the sudden demise of my brother allahyarham hj Amir Zuhairi bin Hj Zubir whom i called abang. sesungguhnyer it happen when we least expect it. it was about 1.30am when my sis woke me up - bangun..bangun..kak ani call..abang at the hospital. i was like blur but immediately what came to mind was, dier had an accident ke? i just put on a shirt on my kaftan and we drove to ampang puteri with 2 cars. i was with my younger sis. it was total silent. none of us said a word. but it never occured in my mind that he has left the dunia for good. Allah lebih sayangkan dia. i walked into the emergency area and there i saw him lying down there with his serene face, arm folded and white cloth all around his face, i will not forget that look. i actually asked my mom, itu abang ke mie?? dier dah takder ker? and i heard my abah was asking, eri ke tu..ya allah anak abah.

so from that night onwards i took the responsibilty which i've considered is the right thing to do and i'm glad i took the responsibility. Mum i hope you redha that i'm here and not with you though the time when i was home i usually spend it sleeping in my marvellous complete room. 5 beautiful kids - 3 nephews and 2 nieces..each and everyone with their own characters, tempremental, blurish, tomboy, loving complete package all in all. i'm not trying to replace their abah nor act as their mama, but i'm just giving my natural support as any makcik will do. there's actually a blessing in disguise when i took the nanny job sometime ago. maybe Allah wants to prepare me for this. sememangnyer tahap kesabaran mestila maximum..twice i think i lost it and i felt really bad, i mean they're anak yatim. but i've decided to be the garang yet loving one like their abah and any pampering let their mama do it. so there's balance there, i mean i can't simply grow or implant testicles at the age of 30. but there's still no father figure for them to look up to except for their uncles..i hope these uncles will give the extra tlc. i mean i do not know what future has in store for me. what if i got married and obviously my responsibility will change like or not. Allah knows best, i'll leave it in His hand. "sesungguh Allah tidak bebankan kepada umatnya apa yang ia tidak mampu bebankan"

so now my activities..homework, baca quran, sports day, school trips, report card day, buat susu, feed the small one yg habitnyer makan tgh malam.... nagging...nagging and nagging without missing my fav marvellous tv series..i.e desperate housewives, csi, americal idol, sex in the cities bla..bla...but one thing i miss for sure is my marvellous cable tv - astro. when will i enjoy that?? susahnyer nak sacrifice hobby tengok tv nie..
